Callback List

First of all, a huge and sincere thank you to each and every one of you who auditioned for Hadestown Teen Edition this week. The level of talent, energy, and enthusiasm for this show and these characters was truly inspiring, and we’re incredibly honored that you chose to share your time and gifts with us—especially as a brand-new theatre company.

We know that auditioning can be a crazy vulnerable experience, and we deeply appreciate all the time and thought that every one of you so obviously put into your auditions. You made our decisions very difficult, but in the best possible way.

Attached below are the callback list and a callback schedule.  As you go over the list, we want to emphasize a few important things:

Being called back is not the only path to being cast. There are roles that do not require a callback, and some casting decisions may already be clear to us based on your audition. If your name is not on the callback list, it does not mean you won’t be cast in the show.

Some choices were made based on age range and scheduling conflicts. These are practical considerations that had to factor into our decisions, and they are not a reflection of anyone’s talent or potential.

After the last two nights, everyone on the production team feels like we're building something truly amazing with this show and with Byway Theatre Company, and every one of you who auditioned has already helped lay that foundation. We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to working with so many incredibly talented actors.
